Hello all, I m looking to rent out my 2 bed terrace next year. Any tips about agents, doing it yourself etc?
Are electrical requirements super strict? I m thinking I may need a re wire to keep those tenants safe. It's only been as it is for 10 years I've owned the property.

If you're planning to do everything for yourself then join the NLA or someone similar.

Otherwise choose an agent and talk to several and go with who you are most comfortable with.  Along the way ask questions and absorb the information.  Then hopefully within a couple of years you'll feel confident and knowledgeable enough to manage the property yourself.
