UK Landlord Forum / Life

Does anyone else get invited to Private landlord forums by their local council? I guess they have my details because i've dealt with a few DSS tenants. I get a letter through every 6 months telling me about a forum.

Apparently their intention is to make the forum a regular information exchange point between the private rental sector and the various departments of the council which they interact.

I hate how the DSS/council system works at the moment. There are so many problems, hence why i refuse to get involved with DSS tenants anymore. I guess it would make sense for me to attend and make my voice heard- but how much difference can I actually make? I doubt i'd make any difference whatsoever.

So, does anyone else get invited or attend these things? Or perhaps it's just a forum held by a few local councils...

Noticed no one had replied to this, my local council runs these forums and they seem to be popular. Never attended one myself though.
