Just a query.
Are the internet published HB payments, per week or 4 week or calender month?
I have scoured various websites and can not find an answer.

My friend used to receive £75 p/week.

There is a cap to benefits received, this includes most benefits including housing benefit.
The limits are:
£500 per week for families with children
£350 per week for individuals.

I haven't looked at the internet sites but if they quote figures around £100 I would suggest they would be weekly figures.

The ones on the Cornwall Web Site are per week.

I assume this is the same, give you a guide, take the number and multiply it by 4.33333 if this is a round number then it's a weekly amount.

In Cornwall, my end its £400 1 Bed that should start you off.
