Hello, after residing in my property for 18 months, my tenants are now claiming there are bed bugs and that I need to take responsibility for this. Is this correct?

No,bed bugs are carried by human bodies.If they were not there 18 months ago,they have been brought in by someone he/she sleeps with,or a second hand mattress just purchased.
