We are on a private water supply, the water pump failed on Friday. We have had no running water since then, our landlord is ignoring us. He has always been great so I don't know why he is ignoring this as it's an emergency. I really don't want to have to take it to environmental health as he only lives a couple hundred yards from us and I believe a process like that will strain the landlord/tenant relationship, I'm also worried about a 'revenge eviction'

What can I do?

Well if you just live a couple of hundred yards away I would knock on his door and have a chat with him in person. That way he can't ignore you.
