I've just moved in to a flat and paid £5,400 + £600 deposit upfront for 9 months. I moved in yesterday and have noticed many little things that seem unusual such as;

-Cracks in the corner of the bedroom, laundry closet and kitchen
-The bin slider doesn't work and is detached
-One of the lightbulbs in the kitchen was out when arrived
-Bathroom door side is half painted
-Rust on bathroom towel rack
-Dirt/rust by shower glass door hinge
-Washing machine tray is filthy
-Plug handle is missing
-Bedroom window sticks a bit
-Bedroom wall has marks, scuffs and dents

I know they all seem like small things but when I paid so much I expected something much better than this. I emailed about the cracks and they said they're nothing to worry about and there is someone working on a solution as it's the same in other flats but they didn't mention this to me prior to renting the flat. Am I being hard done by or am I being picky? This is my first time renting and moving out from home.
