LEASE TERM ALMOST UP - ISSUES WITH COSTS FROM MANAGING AGENTS?

Hi there, Would appreciate some advice please?   My other half has been in a tenancy since February 2014, the term of which is 'up' next week.    He has had issues with costs from the managing agents over the last 12 months which have increased without notice and without notification.  He has asked for a breakdown of the costs (its a multi tenanted industrial complex, mainly small units but 3 massive ones).     Costs for facilities management have crept in without consultation or notice, costs for sprinklers (no budget for breakdown works?) in one of the massive units has been applied across the estate.... electricity costs have been increased because British Gas haven't submitted invoices (?) and ad hoc repairs of which none have been noted.

Questions - what rights does my OH have given his lease is due up - he fears they'll evict him next week as he's challenging the background to the costs as he's a sole trader using little if nothing at all?

I've reviewed his lease and he signed away his rights under the L&T Act...... help?????
