Can I ask for compensation? How?

So i'm a student in France, moved into an apartment with two other girls on last July. I don't have any problem with my room mates, but a HUGE problem with my landlord.
First of all, I had 'met' her on this website for searching an apartment, and we agreed that i'll have the room A ( 3 people, 3 rooms, A B C) but when i arrived she told me that i'll have the room B. I didn't have any particuliar problem, besides i came from east so i didn't speak the language very well, worse to argue.

After some times, i realize that this room B is very inconvenient for me, why? because this room is located in the living room! yes you didn't misread, it's literally in the living room, so i can only go into my room by passing the living room. Not a big deal? well, yes it is. Since the living room is a common place, it can be very noisy when i want to have my me-time in my room, also when the lanlord came to take the rent and it will be very awkward. Furthermore, the door of my bed room is a japanese-styled sliding door, so no privacy. i can't even tell if someone goes into my room!

Now, the real big problem is: On the website, I asked her if she has any pet or will there be a pet in the apartment, because uh-oh i'm not a pet lover, and she said yes she has a pet BUT it will not disturb me because she will only come a few times with her pet. Alright, no problem.
Here's the deal, 2 weeks ago, she suddenly called one of my room mates to tell her that she WILL STAYING OVER for one night! she didn't call me, rude right? considering that i'm the one who will be disturbed the most.
D-day, she came and asked me if she disturbed me, of course i said NO because of my eastern culture and i thought that she'll be staying only for that one night. But ........... she didn't. she stayed the night after too. Not to forget, she brought her dog.
HERE'S THE EXPLANATION: I STAY IN A ROOM IN THE LIVING ROOM and she slept in the living room. it's a nightmare to me since it was very awkward like TOTALLY and she likes to talk a looooooot. Then, the room became smelly, you know - the smell of animal, and i can't even open the window because she said i can't since her dog can fall accidentaly. the room also became very dirty, i found a dried leaf once (even in general, it's only me and the room mate who stays at C who clean it, the A won't clean it because she doesn't use it, she says)!!!!
it's not finished yet, the dog also likes to bark, in the evening, in the morning, oh la la.

AND THIS IS THE DISASTER!!!! She was elected as the president of some union and therefore she'll stay over once a week.
SHE SAID THAT SHE'LL GIVE ME A DISCOUNT, but until now (almost the end of the month) she hasn't spoken about it, not even once.
Before she gave me a 30 euros discount because i hadn't had the key to the living room (you know because my room's door, i need privacy at least at night). Now i won't accept it becaise it's not enough to pay off the disturbance she caused. I think I'll ask her for 60 euros.

What do you guys think? Do you think it's reasonable? Am i reasonable?

P.S. I know this is a website for you British people, but can you help me with this one? because it seems like a reliable site.

Why don't you just give notice and leave? You don't mention having signed a lease, but even if you have, I think the landlord would be unable to make you stick to it,given the circumstances.Find somewhere that fits your needs and lifestyle.Any discount will not make the problems go away.

Yep you're right. The lease is not a problem for me either. But still i can't just leave since it's still school period and many apartments will be rent from june usually :/

Doesn't that mean she needs you as much as you need her?
Why not tell her if things don't change you need to consider moving out (you don't actually need to do it)...make up some reason like your studies are failing because of this... play on her heart strings if she has any...
Tenants need Landlords but also vice versa.
