Hi guys.. I'm just wondering if you'd seen anything about property here in northern ireland.. to cut a long story short, the government slapped a big tag onnn buiding on certain areas here, so thus supply didnt fit the demand, so the property all went upward what with the amount of people wanting to buy sell, first time buyers etc trying to get on the market!!

now there's a silly sorta prisident been set and say in my area the ave 3bed semi is fetching 200k!!

its nuts

I just was wondering what your thoughts on it all was?

Hey Aidan,

I think the property frenzy has been going on all over the UK. For example, 2 bedroom houses in my area are currently selling for 200k, now that is crazy.

I'm not that familar with the Northern Ireland property market, but from the sounds of things it's very much like England at the moment.

Do you own any property in Ireland, and are there a lot of people wanting to rent? Right now, in England, renting is a big thing, so landlords don't seem to find it hard to get their properties let out.

i have two various diff properties in ireland...

I think it could end up like the way things are in France, sort of 70% rent their houses  over there!!

if things go as they are (what with interest rate rising) could be a lot of folk renting!!!
