I hope to have my ideal home ( probably with a mortgage ) by my 30's just before I have children ... ( yes I have it all planned out ) I even know which road I want the house to be on .
There are about 30 of them .. so its ok  ;D

Its a four storey Victorian town house. I love the fact that they have lots of diferent rooms ..the house on the road normally have about 12-14 rooms .... compared to the house I have now which has 8 rooms.

I love courtyard gardens ... and how the house is split into 4 different levels.
Alot of people would buy a victorian house for the period features ... and if I was developing it , I would be bothered ... but I dont really see them as an amazing thing ... ofcourse I love the height of the ceilings in a victorian house . But the main thing for me ... is the exterior of the house ... the big front door and the sash windows .

Ive always wanted to live in this kind of house ... maybe it was from having a dolls house that had servant quarters haha . ..... not that id have servants  :-\

Ok im going off on one now ...... so whats your ideal home ??

Badger

Yes yes yes i say yes
FEE FEE good spot and you are right on the money with the kind of house, i laso like this kind of house but i love the double fronted version, which i want by the time im 45

propertyfag

I dont know .... Unless is a character property ... sometimes detached houses just dont have much too them ... they are just big and spread out .

I live in a semi atm ... and its ok .... but I love my terraced house more . !! I dont know why though . Its odd. I think maybe because its narrow ... and then has a huge long garden ... it feels like I own more in away ... its weird .

propertyfag

That wouldn't be bad for the back of the house. I'd have a nice kitchen/dinner in there :)

Fionalouisa

mmmm that would be niceeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee .

I think I love houses TOO much , sometimes

If thats possible.

Fionalouisa

eww no ... I dont like the last one ....

They need the car to sell the lifestyle of the house.

You'd have to be single ... VERY rich ...Love vintage/fast cars.... and then you'd be really up yourself ... and buy something like that ... to show off.

propertyfag

I love that car. Apparently it's a Renault?

Maybe badgey can shed some light!

Fionalouisa

I agree the car is ace .... but thats what sellling the picture.

Minus the 007 car ..... and the grey tint .... not that nice ...

propertyfag

Fine, be like that! See if I care.

I can't wait until I can afford to buy my ideal home! I think i'm going to need a rich girl...or badgey.

Fionalouisa

haha yeh ... Badgey is probably the best bet ... just not as sexy

propertyfag

OI OI OI! Watch your mouth, sonny jim!

He's a fine specimen of a man!

Fionalouisa

I know . Why do you think I joined !

propertyfag

Beacause of me.
Don't break my heart now, gurly.

Fionalouisa

haha ok ... It was your sexy sarah beeny picture that did it

Badger

Hey calm down people we can all share each other, we can do that here cos we can and we are all adults ok,
Right modern glass front cribs are for footballers who have money to burn.  But yes there are some great places out there with this design.
None of us have come up with an eco house yet, um i wounder why

As for your comment young lady, i dont care if i aint as sexy as the chump standing by me. i have the fag, and now i thank you all and wish you love

Badger

Looking for my perfect home, will post when i have found

Fionalouisa

Its HUGE

and lots of millions !!  :o

vwilson

I really like this one

Though detached would be nicer, and location could be better. Location counts for a lot.

I love it, but but but, i would go for it if it was by the sea !, i love the sea and any dream home of mine needs to be on it or by it

vwilson

Bournemouth's where you need to be then - try Southbourne, lots of nice victorian places near the sea. Boscombe is supposed to be "up and coming" too, but I'm not sure I would. That said, scabby by Bournemouth standards isn't really very scabby.

V

Badger

Very true, infact i have looked at Bmouth before and surounding areas.

Fionalouisa

I really like that house V ... there are similar houses to that ... on the road of where I live .... they are soo big ... and have a trillion windows ... and they rarely ever come on the market.

vwilson

I think, unfortunately, that particular one is being turned into flats :/ they've put down a new slate drive which looks quite nice.

V

Fionalouisa

Thats a shame .... . I think if I eventually couldnt afford a victorian house ... Id never just buy a flat in a victorian house .  Not that I'm saying thats why people buy flats that used to be one big house.

I know your getting a slice of the style and beauty of the house but I think its aweful .. ( well maybe not aweful)

I dont know where im going with this  ::)
