Hello everyone!

I live in a block comprising of 6 flats (I own 1 of the flats). I am trying to carry out a fire risk assessment for the communal areas. One of the service providers told me that if there are no internal communal areas, then a fire risk assessment is not necessary. Is this indeed the case?

If there are no communal areas, there's nothing to assess. That does sound like an odd layout, though.

If there aren't any internal communal areas, you probably don't need a fire risk assessment. But it's best to double-check with a fire safety expert just to be sure
