Hi gents and ladies,

I've almost competed the sale of another property, the property already has sitting tenants that have rented for the last 7years and have no intention to move, which is great to say. They've kept the house looking great.
The problem I'm encouting is the house is currently being managed and  in the hands of an agent (RR's) the LL has left them do all the work. We're I  like to do  it myself. I've contacted the LL to say I don't need any help from RR's, please  end the agreement that they currently have and to release the bond, I've instructed the current LL of this and I will take over once this is completed and sign the papers of completion.
I've received a letter today from the current LL stating to send my mobile number for the agent to contact me so they can transfer the bond.. is this correct because I thought it would be best the current LL ends all these ties and I would take over once this is done and start a fresh bond protection with the tenants once I complete the purchase, new tenancy agreement  but the LL is insisting the agent only do this by transfer??
I'm having doubts awith this decision
Any help would be greatly appreciated

They want to talk to you, to persuade you of the merits of keeping them engaged. Do you fear you will be persuaded? Of course not, so have the conversation.

Or play hard-ball and threaten to walk away from the deal.

Did you provide your Landlord ID? If so, it could be possible to do a simple transfer. Depends on a few things. The Agent may well physically have it in their possession, much more normal.
