Hi guys,

We have just had our first set of tenants move out of our old property after living there for 2 years. They moved out last week and now we need to get some work done to the property, but we are unsure how we get the electricity and gas working again, We have the attached meters now fitted in the property, it looks as if the tenants got Smart meters fitted while they were living in the property? Does anyone know how we get these topped up? What is the procedure?

Any advice would be much appreciated.

Ascertain who the provider(s) is, transfer temporarily to your names and ask them directly.

If new tenant moving in within few days then leave the subject to them
