Has anyone used private baliffs before to evict  non paying tenants .
We have up to 10 weeks before county court baliffs will come out so we re thinking to go to private bailiffs .

Any advice or info appreciated .!

I think you need to be careful. If an eviction is executed incorrectly you may find yourself before the courts and you may find the process you've already gone through is negated and you need to start again.

I wouldn't trust the job to anyone but Court appointed bailiffs but that's just my very inexperienced opinion.

Good luck either way.

What the heck are private bailiffs. The only legal ways for a landlord to evict a residential tenant is to obtain an order for possession from the county court, then a warrant for possession, and finally either have that executed by a county court bailiff or transferred to the High Court to get a writ of possession to be executed by a High Court Enforcement Officer.
