Hi. I have a second home and because I only ever use one of the rooms, I have let the other room to a tenant using a room-only AST as you can only have a lodger in your main residence. My current insurer won't cover the property in this circumstance so I assumed I would need landlord insurance. However, I'm yet to find a landlord insurance that will cover me either. This is my first experience of letting so I'm unsure what to do. Can anyone advise? Thanks for reading.
