Hi

I am replacing the glass only in a couple of bedroom windows in my rental property. The window man said I need to replace one of the windows completely to a fire escape window. This window is a bottom opener but apparently not quite big enough. I have searched endlessly on the internet to find what is required but the information seems to be vague. I have hard wired fire alarms on both floors. Can any one point me in the right direction for what is legally required please?
