It has been a while since I installed a new tenant, and I would like to make sure all the documentation is done properly. I think there are laws relating to UK residency and rules about  legionella which obligate the landlord to serve certain docs at the time a contract start. These also include things like the gov website how to rent? pdf, deposit procedures, gas safe certificate etc.

Can anyone provide a concise checklist for all the things I need to go through/provide.

yeah I would like the same thing. These rules sometimes come in and you have no idea about them. That's quite scary.

If you go back on to the landlord blog, you can download all the checklists you need  to give to your new tenants. Including the legionella, how to rent etc. I did them all last night
