Hi, looking for advice re landlord insurance. Can anyone recommend a reputable broker? Really not sure want cover is necessary. I have put some cash to one side for repairs, rent arrears . The property will be unfurnished, do I need contents, rent arrears , legal??? Also my tenants are working part time and having assistance from LHA . If they are working do I need to declare LHA?
Many thanks

Having correct buildings Insurance for let properties is very important. These days in BTL era there are many Insurance companies who are after this type of business. Google "Landlords Insurance" and this should bring up many links. Goodluck

Thank you, Google was my first stop. Just a little overwhelming.

I use DirectLine and so far they have been good. It was the most reasonable price quoted to me at the time I looked.

My tenant is on Housing Benefit. Does anyone know  a good provider for such cases? And how much I should expect to pay? (3 bedroom house in Enfield)
