Check Out Inventory - can it be amended?

An independent inventory company did the check out on a flat we rent.    It was the same company that did the check-in.  The tenants attended.    Unfortunately, the clerk missed several items.   We informed the inventory company and they amended the check out report.  However, the tenants are disputing the damages and it's going to adjudication.     Where do we stand legally?   Can the inventory company actually amend the check-out report?

Yes they certainly can.  All they have to do is amend it, present it to the tenants as they did with the first one and get them to sign it to say they agree with everything on it as they did the first.  Would be like Turkeys voting for Christmas though.

You could try it in adjudication if the checkout company are willing to make a statement about what they missed.

"It would be like the 600 Co-operative voting board members, agreeing to a more prudent fiscal governance system"

I prefer this to the thing about Turkeys... it's just more....current.

Or Ukrainians voting

"1. Are you in favor of the reunification of Crimea with Russia as a part of the Russian Federation?

2. Are you in favor of restoring the 1992 Constitution and the status of Crimea as a part of Ukraine?"
