Is there any mediation service that is fair to landlords in terms of damages and deposit claims? Tenants prefer either a free or a fixed-fee service.

What's wrong with the deposit system?

Any other option than deposit systems please? We cannot use it I returned the full deposit. No account at the moment.

Was the deposit protected in the correct way,wondering why you have already returned it ? If the tenants are the ones insisting on mediation I would expect them to find a mediator.You cannot guarantee the outcome,the whole idea as I understand it is to get both sides to reach an agreement that is acceptable.I think many solicitors can provide mediators,obviously for a fee.If you want further advice on here you do need to give more information.
