Hello

Any advice would be much welcomed please.

The gas fire in the property needs replacing and the flue is unuseable- also impossible costwise to replace. Does anyone have experience / knowledge / advice about getting a flueless gas fire fitted please? - the internet seems to say all fitters run a mile from doing it... I would prefer to stay with gas than go with an electric fire.

Personally I'd go a feature electric  one, or is the gas one the main source of heat.

thank you for replying. The gas fire is secondary as there is central heating.

Then I'd definitely go feature electric with a plug, 2 sources of heat in case one fails.
