How to enforce a court order for rent arrears when:

- Tenants have moved out and I don't know their address and
- They are on benefits and not working

Often not worth trying to enforce.  How much are the rent arrears?

just over 2000 pounds

Ive heard that there are tracing agencies but I have no idea how much they charge

I've just gone to the small claims court for a rental debt and that is in two stages the first " admin charge" was for £115 and the second £170 but because I won I will eventually get that back but sorry I can't help further

I'm in similar shoes and my solicitor said that the tracking agencies charge £50-75.

I personally am not sure that I'll go after my tenant as he's pretty much a criminal as it turned out.
