Hi, my tenant recently sent a rant of a text message about various issues including a cracked window, an un level grate cover outside, a missing cover for flue that runs by roof,  and also other things that's she 'didn't even want to go into'. She said that for the rent she is paying, the house should be perfect and that I should reduce the rent. Now I was a bit taken back by this as she had previously been pretty ok, if a little OCD like which can't be bad for a landlady. I explained that I would be happy to fix the problems if she could supply me with a list. Meanwhile her hubby calls me and apologises profusely an says to ignore his wife's texts and that the repairs are so minor that he would do them himself. But I was pretty annoyed and wanted the stuff fixed. I got someone up to replace the window and asked her again for list. She ignored bit about list but asked me question about something else. I texted again a few days ago and yet again, she has ignored me. It's is very very annoying and rude. Don't know what her problem is but she is irritating the hell outta me by just turning off altogether. Don't want to start going down as harasser but feel like calling at door and asking what her problem is . Rant over. Thanks anyone who could be assed reading it.

Sorry to hear that you have bad tenants. I can't believe that they can be so rude and uncaring of other people's property. I can't suggest anything other than perhaps you should only deal with the husband as he seems more sensible than her.
