Hi all not sur how this works but could someone offer me advice. I have been granted possesion of my property after following all the correct procedures. However the tenant will not go she is now appealing on the grounds that I did not protect the deposit however and here is my question when she moved in (on the recommendation of her sister who is also a tenant ) she gad not got the deposit but said she would pay it in instalments this never happened so I dud not have a deposit to protect what will happen at the appeal hearing will I lose my right to regain possession and if so can I start proceedings all over again or have I lost my house for ever. Thanks in advance for any advice

Hey Dudley,

You won't be refused possession for not securing the deposit! You only need to secure a deposit if you received one!!

Good luck with your case!!
