I have a leasehold flat, every time I have a tenant in the directors of the building complain and constantly hassle me about what the tenants are doing, I have yet another new tenant that they gave permission to rent from me as I need permission from them first, but after a few weeks I have had nothing but accusations that my tenants freinds are causing disturbances outside the building, my tenant says he knows nothing about this as he is not with them but has told his freinds not to do this and has said he will apologise to people it has upset. The directors have complained my tenant won't talk to them but when we spoke with him he said he didn't have time as he had to get to work but did want to clear the air with them as he likes where he lives, he tried to speak with them but they refused to speak to him. My tenant has told me that they have harrassed him and he has felt like phoning the police. The directors actually own one of the flats in the building and are constantly watching everyone on cctv they had installed by the front door...they also refuse to call the police on the accused people causing disturbances when we asked why they hadn't but have told us we will have to ask our tenant to leave because of his freinds even though our tenant is not with them, where do we stand as our tenant is OK with us. Other people that own flats have said they have called the police on the directors  because the directors  have harrassed them and it's getting difficult to get tenants as they are becoming well known as being a pain, they also call him at work and have billed him for a stolen air fresher that he hasn't taken, the directors told me they have no evidence it was him but our tenant said he would pay just to keep the peace....any advice would be helpful as they have mentioned solicitors again!!

Wow!

You and your tenant dont have to put up with the shit.

Just ignore them, tell then to get F@#+'d.

They are just bullies playing high and mighty, you worrying about this is wrong, let them go to solicitors, but don't be scared, they will not be able to take this sort of bloany to a judge in a court, they will be laughed at.

This is hysterical. Fart in the faces of the directors and light your flatulence with a match. Boboff is right, they have no legal standing here, they're just being bloodsucking ticks - carry on as you are and let them fester in their own faeces. Maybe at the same time, file a joint complaint, with the other flat owners, against the directors for harassment. That'll shut them up.

Apologies for the vulgar images I've provided you with.
