I am a student living in a shared house. I currently live on the top floor of the building in a converted attic. The problem is that pigeons have nested in the walls and are living in the roof above my bedroom, and have done for a number of months. It is a huge inconvenience when trying to study because of there activity in the evening, and I am frequently woken in the early hours of the morning at around 05:00.  I have told my landlord about it on several occasions and he has not done anything about it. I know I should be entitled to some form of rent discount, but I don't know how much exactly. Can anyone help?
