Hi,

I am about to start a new job but I have just had noticed issued to me by my Landlady. I will have started the new job before I need to move but I will likely only have been there for a week. How are Landlords and Agencies going to view this? My credit rating is probably not too bad and I have the money for the deposit etc.

Btw I will be able to get a good reference from my landlady.  She is merging homes with her new boyfriend and they are turning this place into an office, I didn't do anything wrong. I wish them the best but their timing surely does suck lol :-)

Can you get a letter from the new employer? People change jobs, it is a fact of life. Some may be put off but most wont. Dont wait to be asked for letters. Take them with you. It shows you understand the landlords worry and have taken sensible steps to corroborate your employment and reliability

Hi,

I will have my contract of employment at that point and will certainly take it with me. I hope you are right, I could probably get a house share easy enough but I have got used to my own space. Fingers crossed and thanks for the reply.
