Apologies if this is covered elsewhere - I have searched!

When it comes to high street vs on line agents is it true that big corporates only use the former?  That is what the high street is telling me.  I have a house to let in London and think big corporates are a key market.

Thanks for any insights from anyone with experience on this.

I let one of my properties to a company and they came to me via a high street Agent after I'd advertised myself on uPad. So I ended up paying twice :-( but it was worth it as it ended up being easier. The company I let to is not a big corporate, but I suspect this behaviour is more prevalent as the size of the company increases... people won't want to take personal responsibility, if it goes wrong they can blame the Agent they 'employed' for property find (even though that's generally not an Agent's service as we know).

If you want bog corporate clients, then do as hippo says.

Use both types of marketing, £80 gets you on Upad, get a multi Agency agreement with a few high street Agents, see where you get the bite first.

Obviously the Agents will tell you they are the only source of these people, because they will lie to get your money.
