HiIm new to the landlord thing have been renting out my old house for about a year, mostly without headache until now

Just had a call at 10pm from managing agent saying tenant stuck in bedroom as handle has fallen off the door. can I go and fix or alternatively have a locksmith gain entry to free her from the room.

my first reaction was of how is that my problem, and no way am I paying for a bloody locksmith!

Any thoughts surly I'm not responsible for internal door handles and their coming loose? 
Help please
