Hello everyone, I'm looking for new tenants with a few couples who are interested. One couple want to rent my house for two years. Am I still ok using a AST and do they have any extra rights, signing a two year AST.  thanks for your help

An AST can be for up to 3 years.

I wouldn't do it, though... for all the obvious reasons. 6 months, then periodic.

Never in a million years would I offer a 2 year tenancy.  6 months then let it go periodic every single time, ,they can stay for as long as they want if they are good tenants.  Don't do it!
