On the 10th of January the BoE will review the base rate. In December it dropped by 0.25%, many believe they'll drop again, although their have been a few cynics saying otherwise.

Last time my lender, Birmingham Midshire, didn't follow suit by lowering their rates, and I got a little frustrated. If rates drop this time, they better follow suit 

However, the telelgragh are saying Lenders may not pass on rate cuts

Interest rates held at 5.5%!
