Started on a new BTL last week, and had a great delivery from Wickes.

Ordered online on Sunday, arrived Weds, delivered into the property by two chaps. Good prices too.

On occasion I have set up Trade Cards with Travis Perkins and B&Q, but have found my special "Prices" are in fact more than the Public ones.

The White Tiles at £4.34 a meter, are really rather good, and half the price I can find anywhere else.

Delivery was free.

Anyone else got any recommendations for building and decorating materials?

I tend to always use Wickes as well because of their prices. Never really had any complaints about their service either.

When it comes to kitchens, I tend to use hotdoors.co.uk though (there are other independent online retailers that offer a similar service, but I've yet to find one that matches the service/price). Massive savings to be made. You can pretty much transform tired old kitchens at quite reasonable costs just by replacing the unit doors. They don't sell carcases, but generally,  you can get away with not replacing them.
