I have a major problem with our landload after living in the property for one year he wants to increase the rent but has made no reapirs as we have a leakage we told him we will not pay any more rent until it is fixed he has not and says he will take us to court to get the money from us

we also paid him cash in May 2011 he secured the deposit in May 19th 2012 after one year into the  tenency deposit secheme

when he takes me to court will they take my side and compensate me under the Localisation Act 2011 as he failed to proptect the deposit after having it for one year

any idea view plz thx
