Hi there.
I really need an advise.
I am renting alone a room in the house with 6 other strangers.
Five months ago I should recive by post a mobile phone for contract.  Someone from my house signed and took it. I tried to investigated,  but no one feel guilty.  I left the case for a mobile companyto sort this out. Then I lost my job because other tenants were banning me. I spent all my money only for rent, as I haven't got a job now I am late 4weeks to pay a rent.. 3days ago women who is living in the same house and she is collecting the money from all tenants said to me "get out!" I can understand somebody can be upset as I am not paying the rent, but hang on! She is not a landlord!  She informed me the landlord is living in other country and she is transfering money to him by bank. I don't have any tenant agreement and any rent book from the landlord.  Only my pieces of papers signed by this women when I paid the rent.
Yesterday morning she knocked to my room again and she repeated very rudely get out in other case you will find your things on the street, then I heard when she was talking to other tenants about me using offensives words. I must say many many time s from my room were missing things as I am selling  new clothes by internet also ones I forgot hide money for rent from my draw (they disappeared! ). Could not do nothing as I haven't got anything to proof somebody took it. I am sure this woman has a spare keys. Then yesterday I called metropolitan police and I explained all over again two police officers came in the evening.  They said that only court can throw me out from the flat and also this woman can be arrested for harassment.
I asked this women for a contact number to landlord about few weeks ago as I wanted inform him about the situation at home. She gave me the number two days ago. Number with 9digits *police officer tried call him -uncorrect number.
I asked this woman for a letter from landlord giving me notice on the paper, she gave me the letter saying "on behalf of landlord" however I never seen anything to proof she has permission to do that. Can she throw me out from the house if she is a simple tenant as me?

I am sleeping on the floor as I stopped begging her for a mattress got a kidney inflammation.  Also house is very cold and dump. Serval times in the late evening at home is no hot water means no gas also no electricity even when I was paying regulary. Now I can't even go to the toilet as I haven't pay I am not allowed to use it she said.

I am registered with job centre but my next appointment is on Tuesday.
This woman is going for holiday on Wednesday and she want me to move till Tuesday.

Do I have any rights by law?
Who I should ask for help?

One law stipulates that if you do not know the address of your landlord (a Section 48 notice) you can owe no rent money.

So until you get a Section 48 notice, refuse to pay.  If you are barred from using the facilities of this HMO, your local council will be very interested to hear from you.  They "enjoy" making life difficult for rubbish landlords.
