I moved into my property on the 2/11/12 since then had nothing but promblems, I have mould damp water in my electrics in bathroom so light don't work, a loft space which she has said is a bedroom which has never had planning permision which has no fire doors on any of the property! On the 12/11/12 I had to call transco out out as had been smelling gas and thought I had imagine it for nearly a week when they came out I had a major gas leak at my meter which is locatted in my front living thankfully I don't use that room! So I ask my landlord for my gas safety certificate about a week later she sent it me, on the certificate it was dated the 9/11/12 when I was living

here with a prevoius tentants signture on it with a man name I had never meet! I decided to go on gas safety registar and check the details out and it was a man I had never meet as the landlord had sent someone to repair bolier week earlier but was not him! So I rang gas safe expalin situation how I had concerns and they have booked for an inspection this monday 28/01/13! I actually spoke to the bolierman that's name is on the form and he told me I was reading it wrong and I think I'm clever and told me to watch myslef! My landlord has now found out what's goin on and got another bolier man to ring me last night saying that. I have no gas safety certificate and he is coming to do it 2morrow I have told him its not convient as I won't be around til monday afternoon or tuesday onwards! He stated that my landlord has given him keys so will just let himself in I told him this is my house and I do not give permision to this and he told me its not ur house so ill do what I want! I really don't want him touching my bolier till gas safe inspector have come out which is 5days away! What rights do I have is there anything I can do? Please help?

hello Sam85,

Under the circumstances (you think the landlord is colluding with a tradesman to supply a dangerous gas installation) you are entitled to wait until Transco arrive.  You may also want to get in touch with GasSafe and ask them to come round earlier, before the evidence is removed.
