Hi,

I chased my landlord up for the return of my deposit. It was over two weeks of
waiting (I moved 7/3/20 yet officially it was the 14th) . When he finally replied  (two days) he mentioned things he was going to deduct Unfairly I think. Anyway, I've asked to see the certificate, and another two days later he still hasn't replied. I had many things damaged while living there, due to mould, and a leaking conservatory, that was never fixed for the 18 months I lived there.   
So now that I've already left... how can I claim full deposit back

Was it protected with a deposit protection scheme?

You can check the Deposit protection schemes yourself - you'll need postcode, tenancy state date etc. - it's easy enough. Let us know what you find out.

I did look online again today, even in my partners name too,
but nothing is showing. This forum makes interesting reading.

Then your only option is to go to court if the landlord don't return your deposit. Claim for deposit protection penalty for the non-protection whle you're at it.

Research how to finger your ex-Landlord for not protecting your Deposit... and write to them... it might be two days, it might be longer... but I think they'll come back with something, something possibly interesting and to your advantage.

Thank you both for your advice. He's not refusing, he wants to reduce the amount he returns. He wants to charge for a deep clean, which I done (and he didn't even do one before I moved in) and charge for dry cleaning some heavy curtains that were left in a barn. These were taken down cos they were hideous, and they knew where they'd been left, it's not my fault they left them outside to go mouldy. We had leaks in our conservatory for the WHOLE 18 months we we there. I filmed before I left, sounded like a water feature!! I had luggage go mouldy, and bedding damaged with mould from the drawer under the bed! The massive rug that belonged to my mum was water damaged too, I just left it there, too wet to roll up and bring to the new garage. All I wanted was my deposit back, but now he's being greedy I think I need to take it further.

If he is being unreasonable and hasn't protected the deposit correctly then I would take action for this.  At the least you should get your full deposit back.

This is one example of the kind of landlord conduct that led to the sometimes unfair penalties.You should write to him and ask for details of the deposit protection,saying you can't seem to find anything in your records. You would appear to have him over a barrel,and it is entirely his own fault.   

I'm in the exact same situation, SJ. I've had to deal with two previous rogue landlords wanting and demanding to keep money from the deposit, for things like a new hedge. I'm now dealing with my  last landlord who's just as bad. My advice is to try and take them to court.
