no electrical safety checks done in 6 years
fusebox catches fire  no electricity or heating for four days  landlord first said it was not his problem then tenant had to run around to get electrician to replace fusebox

can the tenant sue for what has happened and what was said to him

all is fixed now and landlord paid for the replacement

sound as if landlord does not have any insurance in place to cover emergencies

can he be sued
or if an s8 is issued can tenant use it to counter claim.

Fusebox replacement should be paid for by the landlord................it was paid by the landlord.

Emergency insurance is not mandatory,

You can try and sue anyone for anything.
