Hi I am after advice regarding a fire started by a shower while my daughter was using it.Shower never cut out fireman isolated it it appears shower was installed on wrong size cable I asked my local authority to see certificate for the installation after waiting 4 weeks it is apparent one never done any advice appreciated

Is this a private Landlord, or a Council House / Housing Association? Your Landlord is responsible for things like this. And it sounds serious. However, I hope no-one got hurt more than anything else.

Thanks for that luckily only I suffered smoke inhalation trying to put out flames as of today still no certificate produced is it a legal requirement for this to be done as new shower was a9.5 on a 6mm cable previous shower that was changed due to fault was 8.5 Regards Elaine
