My 19 year old daughter is a single mother in a house full of damp and mould.
We have had a couple of agencies now involved after the landlord continually insisted condensation was the cause. Environmental Health and our own paid private agency has now shown rising and penetrative damp to be the cause.
Could any one please tell me what sort of time frame for repair is considered 'fair'?
Plus, as she is low income, heating bills are through the roof - pardon the pun - while we continue to attempt to heat wet walls.
Is there a means to have this paid by the landlord while we await him to get a shift on and do the repairs?
