It's weird, because when i drive past huge houses, I naturally think, "God, those lucky bastards, the credit crunch will never effect them"

I guess that's far from the truth- the more you have, the more you have to lose.

Anyways, Robert Bonnier, 38, who shot to fame in the dot-com boom a decade ago with Scoot.com has just got his home repossessed. The six-bedroom house on Ilchester Place in the wealthy enclave of Holland Park has been repossessed and put on the market at £10 million.

His company was valued at more than £3 billion and his stake briefly was worth £130 million before Scoot imploded.

Crazy how someone had so much....and now, nothing. I don't know the ins and outs of his circumstances, but I can't help but think...you gotta' have done something pretty stupid to lose all that, right? Right.

Your right - some people are just broke at a different level.

He did not protect the down side or he was badly advised. Nice having a £10m home but much better to have a £5m home and £5m of investment property!

Reading the times story it appears he was less than truthful in his business dealings - bit of a del Boy soit seems.
