Panorama investigated the sub prime mortgage market and uncovered examples of extremely dubious practices amongst some brokers as well as what I would call very slack criteria from some lenders.  They concluded that if these were widespread then the whole property market could be adveresly affected.

Good i say expose.

I missed it.
But the situation with mortgage lenders being extremely slack with their criteria has been on the news a lot lately. I think a lot of the lenders toughened up after Northern Rock went bust, though.
