I received this months upyourstreet newsletter; I suscribed to one of their email things last year. Usually they have a nice round up of some interesting things, but today, 2 out of their 3 featured articles contained this:

According to a survey by UKTV, Christmas traditions are dying out. Seven out of 10 of those surveyed don't watch the Queen's speech, under half cook a turkey dinner from scratch and only 20% sing Christmas carols.

In their place, 21st century customs include a glass of bubbly in the morning, interactive DVD games and fireworks in the evening.

God, Christmas really must be quiet when a huge property website sends out a newsletter that has very little to do with property.
