What would you pay for office space.  And what would you expect for the rent !.

I like those business parks, because they provide 24/7 security, security passes and a receptionist that will meet and greet your clients. Not too shabby!

I'm not sure how much I would pay per month, though.

Get a freehold office unit. I'll even come and have meetings with you 

Its interesting you mention this, because from some (extremely lightweight) research it has seemed in the past like commercial property requires less investment up front than residential ... so might be a good way to get started for those without capital.

I've no idea what the rent is like but would be interested to hear your collective thoughts on commercial property.

I was looking into commercial property because of those reasons, V. I didn't really following it through. But I know someone who makes quite a bit of money through letting shop fronts.

Come to think of it, I think that's how the dude who now owns the Trafford Centre made all his money too.

And boy, does he have some money.

Wait, does ONE guy own the trafford centre? I thought it was a government development, like most shopping complexes!

I thought it was one guy, or one guy's company ... "Peel Green properties" or something ... because I think the company is named after a nearby area just north of the centre towards Eccles.
