So - finally got the funding sorted for the next purchase (supposedly completing this Friday but that all depends upon Nat West actually releasing the funds!) after several months of hassle and Shat West putting 4 late payment markers against my credit file without ANY justification or reason!

Any what have they done about it? Well they have agreed to pay £1200 for the privilage of screwing me around (they origaianlly offered £500 with £100 to charity)  with an additional £200 being paid to the charity I support! They also removed all the adverse data. Still awaiting the final report of why it happened. Would I use Nat West again? No!

Motive of story - these idiots take great pleasure in charging you for going overdrawn etc so when the tables are turned be mean and go for the throat!

Ha, at least you got it sorted.

So was that £1200 net gainf or you, or did you have to cover costs with that?

Glad you got it resolved anyhow.

Net gain! Will be sending something off to charity too.

It was a cheap get out for them really given that if the complaint had progressed to ombudsman level they would be shelling out a lot more just to be heard!
