There are a lot of articles on house prices floating around at the moment. Instead of creating a new thread each time I read something interesting, i'm just going to post all house price links in here. Bovis forecasts fall in its house prices
Bovis, the housebuilder, has given warning that faltering consumer confidence has hit sales and house prices during the key autumn sales period.

House prices to 'cool not fall'
In its latest analysis of the housing market, PwC said its research suggested prices were 10% "overvalued" against indicators such as average earnings.
But it added that a general cooling of the market was still more likely than "an outright fall in prices".

Savills: Property price growth of 3% in 2008
House price growth is predicted to continue next, albeit at a slower rate than during 2007.
