I will get shot down in flames i know.
But i cannot stand over the top xmas decorations on the outside of a house, it makes the house look cheap and nasty.
There are a few nice designed ones out there but the decs are kept to a minimum.

I agree , Even though I love christmas ... I hate exterior decorations ... especially when it looks like Blackpool illuminations



I normally have either a reith on the front door ... or two bay trees with fairy lights in them .



I love decorating the inside though .

This year im going white/silver I think .... orrr hmmm maybe Gold and Bronze

I made my house into an ice cave a few years ago, freak me it was hard work but it looked just great

Maybe we should have a comp to see who can find the most hidious xmas dec out house

They need to be shot told off by the council .

Shot is ok Fee its ok,  The other thing that pi55es me off is people who leave the flippin things up all year round, what the hell is that all about.

An ice cave, ok it was for my sister who was in the country visiting from Aus.  we went out to get decs etc, it was our first xmas together and we just brought every thing off the shelves from 4-5 shops that was white and we decod out the inside of the house and called it our xmas ice cave, it was done nicely she is good at that kind of thing, i tell you not the place was very bright with all kinds of fabric and lighting, ohhh forgot to say i also got loads of ice blue lights for the place as well

haha sounds abit wacky but cool .... I have to say I sometimes go overboard with my decorations.
But in a stylish way .
No singing dancing thrusting santa for me .


Also seeing as its about christmas  wooooooooooooo I got my advent calendar after my long search for the perfect one .

I have found it .... its a Tescos Finest christmas tree with 25 drawers with all different beligian chocolates in .

haha Im excited  I want to open the first one already .

I did something really bad a few years ago to my mates kids advent cals, i opened them from the back took out all the chocolate shapes etc and resealed, when they opened the draws and broke the foil there was nothing there, i am a wicked wicked man i know, whhhhoooo hoooo,

Its true what they say about badgers .. they look all nice and friendly .... but they are nasty if you get near them.

I hope you gave them there chocolates back , and didnt eat them yourself!!

I ate them, but they do well out of me all year round so they saw the funny side of it, uncle Badger is the family fun man to them, every home should have one

There's a house near my work that goes OTT every year on xmas decor. I'll take a pic tomorrow. He has lifesize flashing santa's and all sorts.

He has to start putting it all up early November because it takes so long to set up! It's crazy man!

Ok been talked into getting a big oh tree this year, sp my modist optic fibre one is out, colours are going to be red/gold mixes with silver and red mixes.
By the way i have also brought 900000000000feet of waterfall lights to go on the outside so i can look like a right chavsta
