Is anyone going to the exhibition this weekend? I missed it last year but I was told by someone who did go, that most of the stands were dedicated to foreign property that they were trying to flog.

I've heard the same thing. Investing abroad isn't something that interests me right now, so I think i'll give it a miss.

I would say there is only one good reason to buy abroad. If thats the place where you'd eventually retire to. Buy your retirement home today at todays prices, and spend the next few years paying for it. Thats why I bought the Apartment in Cyprus I bought 2 Years ago.

too bad im not around that area otherwise i would have loved to have gone.
