Houses from the TV show Brookside are due to go on sale.

Fans of Brookside are being offered the chance to buy a piece of television history, after the owner announced the drama's set was for sale.

David Cox, who works for the company which currently owns Brookside Close said the houses would be on the market before Christmas with a local estate agent.

The three and four bedroom houses are expected to fetch about £250,000 each. That's higher than the average price for similar houses in the same area, so it's obvious people are valueing them more because they played a part in Brookside history. I wonder how long that price increase will hold for- after 10 years, will anyone even remember Brookside? I guess these houses are suitable for diehard fans and not investors. Somehow I doubt that they'll be collectors items like a lightsaber from Star Wars.

You know what, I actually fancy buying one of those!  They are quite often visited on Youtube and they look pretty good for the price (albeit I do not what part of Liverpool they are in - there might be some not so nice areas in the city).  I did not watch too many episodes but you are buying a part of tv history.
