Yesterday I went to view a house that was a 95k 3 bedroom terrace . It had no photos but it read quite well .

This was the description of it ;

A spacious three bedroom terraced home benefiting from double glazing and central heating situated in the ever popular Weldbank area . The property has two reception rooms and a useful uPVC lean-to leading to the rear yard/courtyard garden with open rear aspect. The property is very keenly priced to allow for some further upgrading and must appeal to the larger family seeking a bargain property. There is a range of local shops nearby and convenient for schools and bus route etc

Ive never been so stunned in my life .
It was disgusting .

The owner was a 40 yr old woman with 3 teenage girls ... but omg I dont know how people can live like that .
The lean-to was full of rabbits with rabbit piss all over the walls and the smell . I was nearly sick .

The bathroom .... you couldnt even see the grout for mould and the ceiling was actually black with mould .

The dining was a bedroom that smelt of wee and damp  :-\
There were holes in the walls .
Wires all over the place .

It was the messiest , smelliest house Ive ever been to see .

I came out with bits of crap stuck to my shoes and my coat actually smelt of damp .

Anyways I rang up the vendor and told they how disgusting it was and that the 'further upgrading' needed to be changed to ' renovating' .

I really wouldnt of paid  more than £70,000 for it .

arghhhh . I hate people wasting my time .

;D ;D ;D
Rant over.

So, you going to buy it, smelly fifi?

I know it sounds awful, but properties like that are usually good for developing. You can probably knock them down quite a bit as well...

Fionalouisa

Buy it !!?

Id consider it if it was £25,000 cheaper maybee . Or else it just wouldnt be worth it .

I dont think a builder would even touch it . It was like something out of the House of Grime .

Anyways im not smelly anymore  ;D but its still making my skin crawl thinking about it !

From what you said, there doesn't seem like there is much wrong with it, just a few hygiene issues that the current owners need to address...

But physically, is the property ok?

Fionalouisa

I think maybe I got carried away with how dirty it was haha .

But really if you got rid of the people and the furniture and it was just a house . It would still need ALOT doing to it .

It definately needed re-wiring and about 4 of the walls had huge holes in them .

Also needed a damp course in the bathroom and kitchen .

The floors wherent level from room to room haha I must of tripped up about 3 times ha shame .

It was a wreck believe me faggie .

I so wish I could of taken photos .

Go back and take pics :)

We can all laugh about it, and hopefully, the owners will find the thread...

It will be like that whole property ladder thing. Remember how much fun we had? Make it happen again, fifi!
