As you say, you seem to be in trouble... deep trouble... so I read that you're desperate, and therefore I'd like to take unashamed advantage of you... noting your candidness of not accepting any less than £175,000 I would be prepared to offer you £149,999... this would be a cash deal and I can live with your stipulations, doesn't bother me... evicting people is pretty easy when you know how, and you have the time, I might even be willing to offer the current resident a hefty £ incentive to depart... from the savings I would make.

I only have one question... I don't think the Council Tax can be £141 per year though?

Brothers, ey? Glad I ain't got any.

Alex G

Ha! Glad you made the offer. You probably noticed I bought it for £154,000 back in 2015.

Let me see if anyone else shows any interest. Also, my brother and his girlfriend may be moving out (flat isn't good enough for them now you see) and they want to move to a property his boss will rent to them. Apparently it has acres of land, swimming pools, and...a helipad.

It would be funny if they weren't both so thick.

So let me see if anyone else interested over the next few days. I might take you up on your offer just to see their faces.  ;D

Ok fella, I've had a bit of interest elsewhere - taking the mick in much the same way, though not as much as yourself ;) - so give me your more serious offer, and I'll compare them.

I may be in trouble, but not desperate (yet). It's more the convenience of getting rid of the family problem vs the huge amount of mony lost if I almost literally give it away as you propose.  ::)

Hippogriff

Take it or leave it. You're the one who's desperate, not me... you're the perfect example of a distressed seller... it's amazing what they'll do. Get in touch when you realise it...

I doubt you've had any interest elsewhere... that's a pretty standard claim.

For the avoidance of doubt, there's no more serious offer forthcoming from me. In fact, I just dropped it... £147,750.

Alex G

I was being cordial buddy, says a lot that you took it so seriously. So I'll leave it.

Sorry mate, this isn't my first time round the block either - you're a perfect example of one of those buyers that believes they hold all the cards, and then you'd drop the price at the 11th hour.
So even if you offered me full market value, I wouldn't take it now.

Maybe the smilies arn't doing there job on this site.  ;)

Well, it's because it's not a selling site for desperate amateur Landlords for who it's all gone a bit wrong... best stick to Rightmove, Emoove, remove... that you wrote something here wasn't out-of-the-box thinking or blue-sky... it was desperate, right? It highlights the lengths you'll go to to hand off your problem to some other mug. I guess we don't like that... and my offer, throughout, was totally tongue-in-cheek. I mean, c'mon!

I do hold all the cards. I have funds. You have something you want to sell me. I don't, remotely, want to buy it. I, definitively, hold all the cards.
